Victorian Spring Racing Carnival 2012 kicks off soon and runs all the way through to November and to the Melbourne Cup - so famous that it calls for a public holiday across most of the state of Victoria!
As with most of the racing events throughout the carnival the Emirates Melbourne Cup 2012 will be a fantatsic event and so much more than just a horse race, with racegoers dressed to impress, it will certainly be a visual spectacle just as much as a sporting one!
