What are you fundraising for? The first steps to getting help...

The first step is to let people know why you are fundraising, why you need their help and where all those well-earnt dollars will end up (e.g. new sports equipment for your school or to a registered charity). Also confirm the amount of cash you are hoping to raise as this will help parents, relatives, friends and even corporate sponsors to understand your aims and to help you achieve them.  If you are looking for corporate sponsors it would be worthwhile putting together an action plan so that you can present your case and outline how you will include them in your advertising. While businesses are always keen to help a good cause they will also be keen to know how their company will be perceived and where their name will appear. If you have a regular newsletter or online community, be sure to include your fundraisers in an article, blog or post and also to include the correct links to your sponsors, include their logos and information so that they can help drive people towards your goal too, plus it is great advertising and the more you can include them in your event the more support they are likely to provide.

To help you get started we've put together some guides and article to help you get the best from your stubby holder fundraising campaign.

Coolaz supported 'Team Flemlux' as they rally from Melbourne to Cairns! A fundraiser drive in honour of their late grandad and travelling the distance in his old 'shitbox' ute. Team Flemlux asked us to help create a promotional stubby holder that they could sell along the way to raise additional funds for the cancer council.

“Stubby holders look absolutely fantastic! Thanks very much, I should have no problem raising some much needed funds for our team for the rally now. ” Luke (Team Flemlux)'

Coolaz's stubby holders on tour around Australia wth Tracy and Sue

A girls trip around Australia to raise some money for a personal cause  and a design brief that included "Thelma and Louise" meets " Priscilla Queen of The Desert". We created a unique design for the road tripping duo and a set of stubby holders that became increasingly popular as they traveled the country. Tracey and Sue checked in with us along the way with pictures of the coolers in some fantastic locations, helping to keep their drinks cool and the conversations flowing.

“Many thanks to the gang at Coolaz. We had so many comments on our special stubby holders that they took on a life of their own. They were a great conversation starter wherever we went and they added to the fun we had on our road trip. Looking forward to planning the next road trip and stubbie holder.” Tracey & Sue.
